Step 1: Create and Save the Search

To get started, build a Promo Search that captures category promotions over a 1-month to 1-quarter time period. In the General Merchandise vertical, it is recommended to establish alignment with retail partners on reporting objectives and data standards to facilitate effective and collaborative category reviews.

  • Choose a Category relevant to the review.

  • Select Retailers and optionally filter by Media Type (Print, Digital, etc.).

  • Define a Date Range suitable for your review goals.

If using Digital Media Types:
Be sure to include the event definition for unique digital promotions by week. This ensures your dashboard reflects unique promotions and avoids duplicate impressions across weekly intervals.

Step 2: Create the Dashboard

  • Use your Saved Search to create the Dashboard.

  • Add the reports listed below by clicking Add a Widget.

  • Adding the reports in this order will put the last report in this list as the first report in the Dashboard.

  • Note that you can add any additional reports or remove any recommended reports based on your needs.

  • After adding the reports, use the additional filters within the Dashboard to further filter the results without changing the Promo Search.
